Saturday May 7th
The Kahanamoku Klassic was a smashing success. This year the race schedule got turned around and KK2011 winded up being the first race of the season. Congrats to all the novice paddlers who got their first taste of racing- be careful it's addicting.
As always, thanks to all the paddlers who came and participated in our race, and to all our club members who helped out to make it a great race. Congratulations to all the winners, and to all participants- but of course to all of our crews. As our late co-founder Sandy Kahanamoku would lead us in our cheer... "WHO'SSSSSSSSS DA BADDEST"- MARINA!

Crystal Pier has been the first race of the season recently, but this year Marina's home race was the first and Crystal Pier is the next race up in San Diego at Mission Bay hosted by Hanohano Outrigger.
