07. When does the novice season begin?

Novice season for racing starts in March. See the website for details. Novice season will have coaching of the stroke and training concepts to prepare you for the novice racing season.

Offseason paddling in Oct- March is a good way to get a feel for paddling before the official novice program begins. Please note that offseason paddling is much more unstructured and does not have formal coaching.
